The 2026 Blazing Saddles Century is rolling on Saturday, August 15

The Blazing Saddles travels through the rural towns and backroads of Boston's North Shore and southern New Hampshire. Five ride distances are offered from 36 to 100 miles as well as a new gravel route option. Included are 4 rest stops, SAG support, mechanics, a post-ride lunch, and complimentary ride photos.

NVP Apple Country Century

The Autumn Escape Bike Trek is a mixed-terrain cycling event featuring pavement, gravel, and rural roads around Sandwich, Massachusetts. Riders can choose from different categories, with the main route designed for gravel, adventure, or light hardtail mountain bikes.

Covered Bridges Ride

The Baltimore Bicycling Club is seeking volunteers to support the Civil War Century cycling event.

Volunteers are needed across multiple roles, including rest stops, SAG support, parking coordination, and on-route assistance. Service times vary by role. Volunteers who commit to three or more hours may be eligible to ride at no cost.

Governor Maura Healey filed the "Ride Safe Act" to enhance the safety of e-bikes, e-motos, and other micro-mobility equipment. MassBike was an integral part of the Micromobility Commission that came up with the recommendations. It's a largely speed based approach, rather than the name of the device. Transit that is capable of going faster should require safety, like helmets, for riders.

The Richard Tom Foundation is hosting 11th Annual Richard’s Ride, a cycling event supporting community bicycle programs and access to cycling.

Multiple riding options are available, including gravel, road, mountain bike group rides, and a short closed-road option for families. The event also includes activities at the base lodge.

The Covered Bridge Classic is holding its 47th annual cycling event.
